As with most of your posts, I co-sign every word with every fiber of my being. Excuse me while I go find a rock on which to lay my body in need of a good leeching.
I was fortunate enough to visit Yosemite...have great memories of it, even though it was with my ex and was definitely the beginning of the end (he left about 4 months later, but it’s all good. I am married again for almost 19 years!). Those views are everything!
Your love and appreciation of my beloved Yosemite brings tears to my eyes, joy in my soul and nostalgia so deep that I’m planning my return soon. So happy you and Brandon are in heaven.
I’m so pleased you spent time in Yosemite. It is a very special place that my husband and I try to visit every year. We felt so fortunate in 2020 to have had a weekend there for my birthday in early February before everything in the world stopped.
Drive on you two and keep exploring this lovely, complicated country we call home.
In my youth, our family would drive from Michigan to California in the summers (my mom doesn’t fly) and we would stop by Yellowstone, Yosemite, Mount Rushmore etc. and see a moose, go fly fishing or hike a waterfall. I truly appreciate these experiences, then and even more after all these years (unlike my teenage daughters 🙄). Funny enough, I’m reading this in Umbria with my family while my parents are sending me photos on WhatsApp of Old Faithful! Soak it in, or let things leach out, but enjoy. Sending postcards are the best. Xx
We have good adventures

This is wonderful - I always love to read about the stuff we all have right on our doorsteps - thank you, Laura.
